Democracy for Monroe County

Democracy for Monroe County (DFMC) is a political action committee dedicated to recruiting and supporting fiscally responsible and socially progressive candidates at the local and state levels. DFMC is part of a nationwide coalition of grassroots groups allied with Democracy for America, the political action committee inspired by the presidential campaign of Howard Dean. Bloomington Drinking Liberally

The Bloomington Chapter of Drinking Liberally meets every Tuesday upstairs at Nick's at 7PM.

Democratic Women's Caucus

Mission: to fund, inspire, recruit, support, and train progressive women to increase the numbers of women in the electoral process and in elected and appointed positions.

The Democratic Women's Caucus meets on the first Friday of every month at the Village Deli on Kirkwood at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast. Check the Meeting Link for details of the monthly meetings. All Progressive minded individuals are welcome to attend.

Indiana University College Democrats

The IUCD is dedicated to promoting the Democratic Party platform, involving IU students in the Democratic Party, and to electing Democrats to local, state, and federal offices. You can find the IUCD's at Office 574, Student Activities Tower of the IMU.

The MCDWC meets on the 3rd Tuesday of every month (except December) from 11:30AM - 1PM. Location, speakers and program subjects vary.
