Democratic Women's Caucus
Mission: to fund, inspire, recruit, support, and train progressive women to increase the numbers of women in the electoral process and in elected and appointed positions.
The Democratic Women's Caucus meets on the first Friday of every month at the Village Deli on Kirkwood at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast. Check the Meeting Link for details of the monthly meetings. All Progressive minded individuals are welcome to attend.
The mission of the Democratic Women's Caucus will be accomplished by providing a support system for candidates, campaign managers and staff to build skills in fundraising, issue research, and the mechanics of organizing successful campaigns. The Caucus will serve as an information clearinghouse for public policy, leadership, and gender equity. The DWC will build its coalition, one woman to another, with the goal of equitable representation on boards, commissions, councils, and elected office.
