Linda Robbins has announced that she will seek the Democratic nomination for Monroe County Clerk.
“I am currently serving as Deputy Clerk and have also worked in the Absentee Voting and Voter Registration offices. That experience coupled with 35 years in management for both private and public sectors provides me with a unique perspective of how the Clerk’s office can improve elections, operations and our service to the community. I think it is time to move from 36 years of the same names and faces to a fresh approach ensuring elections and office operations are as efficient as possible.”
Linda has resided in Bloomington for the last 20 years. She was brought to this state through an Indiana Economic Development Program where she was responsible for educating and assisting businesses retention programs. She also managed the Business Innovation Center, a small business incubator in Bloomington.
Linda holds a Masters of Science degree in healthcare administration, is a Certified Human Resources Generalist, Certified Safety Professional, and is a Certified Medical Practice Manager. She served as Business Manager for Windfall Dancers, a Board member of the Monroe County Manufacturing Association, and is active with Hoosiers for a Common Sense Health Plan (HCHP).
“We are fortunate to have so many current employees with vast experience and knowledge. As Clerk, I will provide them with the tools to make Monroe County a model for efficiency in government.”
